We’re excited to announce a specialized training opportunity that we are proud to sponsor — one that is rarely offered elsewhere and highly valuable for today’s building professionals.
On Thursday, November 13th, 2025, we’ll be hosting a focused 4-hour training on Wall Bracing at Oak Creek City Hall. This topic is critical but often misunderstood in both building and inspection work. With modern construction practices — such as taller walls and wider window and door openings — proper wall bracing is more important than ever.
The training is authored and taught by Susan Lisecki P.E. (Ionic Structures and Design, LLC Engineering Firm Owner), offering technical depth, real-world examples, and expert insight. Attendees will be supplied with plans to work through key scenarios and will leave with a better understanding of proper bracing techniques under both Wisconsin UDC and IRC standards.
NOTE: Registration is limited to the first 25 people. Initial priority given to members of BIASEW, then it’s being opened to outside contractors. This is likely to sell out quickly, so please don’t procrastinate. The link at the bottom will reserve your spot and give you 3 weeks to secure the training fee from your municipality or employer. Once full, we will maintain a waitlist for a possible second session. This is your chance to learn directly from an expert, gain CEUs, and sharpen your skills in an area that has real implications for building safety and compliance — don’t miss out.
